MicorTree Savor Injectable is used to inoculate mature and
newly planted trees and shrubs. MicorTree Savor PT is also used
for established trees in decline and trees growing in stressed
environments. This product contains mycorrhizal fungi which is
necessary for plant growth in natural environments. MicorTree
Savor provides a living link between the trees feeder root
system and the surrounding soil ecology. MicorTree Savor
contains species of endo- and ectomycorrhizal fungi that will
colonize and invigorate the roots of trees growing in all types
of soil conditions.
Trees and shrubs require large quantities of six
macronutrients and lesser quantities of ten micronutrients. The
six following are the most important.
MACRONUTRIENTS
- Nitrogen - Promotes green leaves and stems
- Phosphorus - Used in the production of roots, flowers, and fruit
- Potassium - Aids in flowering and fruiting, sturdiness, and disease an stress resistances
- Calcium - Aids in cell manufacturing
- Magnesium - A prime element in the development of seed and chlorophll
- Sulfur - A primary element of proteins and contributes to the green color
The ten micronutrients are (iron, manganese, zinc,
molybdenum, boron, chlorine, copper, carbon, oxygen, and
hydrogen) and are needed in lesser amounts for trees and shrubs
to be healthy. The most effective way to determine soil
nutrients is by taking a sample of the soil. Extension services
do soil testing at reasonable rates.
